Shopix : an e-commerce platform built for the present & future
I'm happy 😀 to announce the release of a new Open Source e-commerce platform : codename Shopix.
This platform is written using Elixir and the web framework Phoenix.
Why another e-commerce platform? I'm quite sure that the technologies used (Elixir & Phoenix) enable strong foundation and good maintainability in the future.
Also the latest announcement of the library LiveView opens huge opportunities to easily add real-time features in the future.
Right now, this platform is only the beginning and a nice prototype. I will continue development and hope that other people will also be interested and contribute. Even if you're new to Elixir, I think this is the perfect new project to discover those technologies and contribute ;).
